cdi box 84 200es big Red

just bought an 84 200es big red. I can't get fire to the plug. I was told that the cdi box was bad. Is there any way to test this box before shelling out 120 bucks?( the price the local shop here in Ocala wants.) And does anyone know of a site on line where I can buy one? Any advice and help would be great. Thanks.

A little time replacing the plug and you should be good to go. Worth replacing, trust me on that, the stock CDI's get pretty weak after 20+ years.
