A co worker has this quad for sale cheap. He said it has no spark and a small sqare box is burned out. Primary coil maybe? I have plans on buying it and hopefully get it back on the trails. Maybe I will cut it up and make a three wheeler out of it. I have a welder and spray paint.

I will have to wait and see till I get it home. Will post more about it. He said he just put $1500 into motor and trans the season before it stopprd running and now he only wants a coule hundred for it. I need to jump on that one.

I picked up a voltage regulator and rev limiter very cheap off evilbay. Not so evil this time. $9.95 shipped. Just swapped color coded wires one at a time and gave it a couple pulls and I now have spark. Easy fix. Now for a battery and a front tire and I should be able to get it moving again. CDI box was also described as a rectifier, voltage regulator. Just did some more searching and found this one cheap.
