The top ends are identical, but thats about it. Four stroke tech has an awesome kit that changes the wolverine from autoclutch, to manual clutch by modifying the clutch system, that would be pretty cool on a 4x4.

that would in deed be a cool swap

i assume the cranks are differnt so a warrior stroker kit would be out (if there is such thing)

just looked at powroll and the warrior stroker kit (430cc) and a torque cam would be sweet on the wolverine with the clutch mod

Ya know, I am not sure, see if there is anything at www.fourstroketech.com they probably have some cool stuff. Another thing that you could think about would be a detroit gearless locker, so that you could switch between 2 and 4 wheel drive, the wolverine will feel sportier in two wheel drive, but when the going gets tough, slap her into 4 wheel.

my friend has a brand new wolverine (2004) has had it for about 2 months and the exhaust, rims, pullstarter are rusted, front fender mount brackets are broke, lightbulbs vibrated out of place....and he only riders trails....not rough on it at all. and the rims or brackets ARE NOT guaranteed on yamahas warranty either
