1985 Tri Zinger Opinions

I see they are fairly popular here. I am looking at one in good running shape with 2 parts bikes. I had one as a kid and it was fun. Looking at it for my kids to ride.

Yea I'd say buy them, your kids will have fun riding. They are fast, and inexpensive to upgrade. A new DG exhaust and Boysen reeds can be had for less than 300.00. If you just run em stock they are pretty fast, make sure to check everything good before your kids ride.

A friend of mine was riding my zinger and the throttle got stuck wide open. He was screaming like a little girl for a second, lol! It took him a while to hit the kill switch, he almost bailed off.... Funny sh:t!! It happened to me too once, I still have not oiled the cables yet.

I'm gonna try to get them. He says it starts but doesn't stay running so I will have to check it out.
