83 klt200a rear end noise

ive got a 83 klt200a its had the lock and unlock able rear end its locked in right now and it makes a clank noise every once and a while coming from the rear im guessing the rear end cant see anything wrong just tryin to get some info be for i tear in to it

try moving it to the non locked position and see if it does it ? might not be all the way in ???
