honda 70 four whelers worth owning ?

I like the 87 fourtrax70 better than the 86.. 87 has a foot brake! I have 1 in a atc70 thats is a awesome setup. 12 volt system w a foot brake.. i have a 88cc in it w a manual clutch.. lol

Mine's a lot more fun than I thought it would be.
Price based on condition - like anything else 25 years old. They did only make them 2 years. I don't see them for sale very often.

Lot's of parts are TRX70 specific. Tanks rust. None of the front king pin bushings are available.

Yep! The my 88cc atc70 was built by jensen. He tracked down all the parts to build it. It starts w a 87 fourtrax bottom end,that way it has a footbrake and 12 volt electrical system. If i remember rite someone said the foutrax had a taller 4th gear in the trans to, but not sure about that. He also tracked down a manual cluch set up from a sl or ct70 whichever was manual lol..
Soo.. 12volt headlight, manual cluch, foot brake 88cc honda 70! What a blast to ride!

They only made them in 86-87, depending upon condition they are easily worth $300, in my humble opinion.

Jensen used the foot brake parts on a sl or cl70 manual cluch cover.. the brake pivot goes rite thru where the kick start goes on the bike manual cluch cover.. then use the bike cluch stuff. You use the quads linkage to work the rear drum. Manual cluch w foot brake!
