Unfortunately, this now means that every ebay user thinks their US90 is worth 12k...

I agree whith you!!!! I collect us90's and also ever since American Resteration did that us90. Every back woods billy that has one wants 1000.00 for it. I used to pick them up for $150 All day before that show jacked that machine up. I talked to someone that has a bike up there now on ebay. If the auction does not hit $1000 his is pulling it right before the end of the action. Give me a brake it's a $300 machine. Also people stopped being honest about condition on there. Up till about 2 years ago they would tell you everything wrong even if you asked. The last two the sellers i bought from on ebay where shady. One bike I bought the guy said the tires where great. I got there and I could see he just put air in the two rear tires. While I was looking it over they where going flat. The other one I got to the guys house to pick it up and he had sold the tank off it to someone that wanted it. I drove two hours to get it and left it there after telling him that I bought it all not just pieces, and he was mad at me for leaving it.

This is just another prime example of "The Barrett-Jackson Effect." Without that auction, the average person could own a 69 camaro.

It's worth pointing out that US90's only bring big money if they have the Ohtsu's. Other than that, they seem to bring normal values.

Someone selling something can TRY to get as much as they want. It's only really worth what someone will pay. ;)
