Ok so recently I put my 200M motor in my 200X frame. When the 200M motor was in its original frame I could hit 46 tops. The gearing was 11, 47 I believe with 22x11x8 rear tires. The wheeler also weighed more I think. Now that I swapped motors I can only hit 35-40 maybe even less. I hit top speed by 4th gear. My gearing is 12, 37 I think to. My wheels are 22's but look like 18's when standing next to the 200M tires I had on(the 22x11x8) and these are like 10 inches wide instead of 8. Now If I put bigger tires would I go faster? Or do I need to change up my gearing?? I'm also wondering if its because im on a snowy/icy road.. because with this setup I spin this tires to much so im wondering if I went on say a tar road with no ice/snow if I would go faster.

Sorry if I was all over the place haha hope i got my point across

Thanks everyone!,

Nope not at all. Everything is fine there. I'm thinking the tires are to small or something. That or there just spinning that much. I have yet to try it on tar or any road that's solid with no ice or snow. It was quicker before with my gearing setup 11/47 and 22 inch tires.. and now I have 12/37 with 22 inch tires BUT they are smaller when put next to each other. There more of the square type and my other ones are donuts so there a bit taller.

with the huge difference in gear ratios it should fly... why dont you use 5th gear ???????

Well I do use 5th gear but the difference in speed from 4th to 5th is like 2mph lol. I think what it is, is the fact that my machine spins these tires like nothing that on these roads maybe its not getting traction? Like I said I have not tried it on a road with NO ice or snow yet.. so im thinking/hoping traction. How fast do you think I should be getting? 50? 55? I mean it was getting 46 before.

My 84 200M does 45, but it slips and needs to be rebuilt. Haha.
