1981 Honda XL185S So here is the deal, I posted before about a noise coming from my motor then locking up. Tore it apart and found out it was the cam got ceased die to gasket maker on the oil spout. We put my buddies 200x cam in it. Now it seems like there is no compression and won't fire. Great spark though. Is a 200x cam different from a XL185S cam?

Valves are adjusted properly, it's getting fuel. The only thing I can think of is the cam...

Cam might be 180 degrees out , check the timing . Piston at top dead center and the dot on cam sprocket at 12-Oclock and the crank key way at 12-Oclock , make sure the cam lobes are pointed toward the cylinder .

Got it all fixed up! The 200x and xl185s cams are different. Bought the right cam and it worked! Now it just jumps time because the chain is too loose and can't fire it to adjust it.
