Yes, I have seen many of them. Farmers around here use them on irrigation engines. I'm not dure if they would be good as a tach on a trike.

WOW for that price i think mr. kirk can stuf it thats a RIPOFF

when tiny tack's have basicly the same deal for 35bucks vrs the 115bucks of DK's :rolleyes:

those are for engines that normally run at a constant rpm. They are fairly acurate, but are not really response to quick rpm changes. It would be kind of useless, unless you use it to check idle.

i rode a polaris 4 stroke with one of those on it, worked good, but took a little while to compute. easy install too, just plug the wire on to the spark plug and thats it

They are no good. I have one on my 82 250r and it freezes all the time and I have to reset it all the time which defeats the purpose of the hour meter feature.
