07 honda rancher 400 at oil filter washer ?

took the oil filter of my 07 rancher 400 at and a washer fell to the floor. it is big enuff to go over the oil filter bolt.. does it go inside the cover or outside ?:wondering

hhmmm, i dont see the washer ? it should be by the oil filter cover ...

007's link shows what should be there. Maybe the washer you speak of isn't factory,maybe its a knock off filter that used a washer to make up length?

thats possible, but usually a cheap filter would'nt come with a hard to find metal washer...its thin, and just fits over the big bolt , but small enuff to fit in the housing...
