1985 350X help needed please

I have a 1985 350x and I don't believe the decompression cable is working properly because I kick it over and over again, and the more I kick it the tougher it gets. I was wondering if anyone knew what the factory specs are for cable length I did some research last night and I see the cables tend to stretch but I can not find the factory length to shorten it if needed any help is appreciated thanks

double check your throttle cable..some times they tie up and the plunger in the carb doesnt go up and down..this will prevent it from starting. this just happened to me.

The spec is .5 - 1.5 mm of freeplay for 85 86 honda 350x decompression cable. Good luck.
