How many of you plan on bringing these often overlooked machines to TF? I will have mine providing I can make it (I'm doing everything I can to ensure this) maybe even a drag or mx class for these? A BW/Fat Cat only ride? Post up your thoughts and wether or not you are bringing one!

I will probably be bringing the 2cate! Will depend on room in the new trailer.

The 2cate will be in a different class haha, IF there are drags or an mx class

I know there are several members that have them. I think it would be cool to have a MX class for them.

I think it would be awesome to beat my TR200 around a track. Even if it is just for shits and giggles

You guys better not try changing the name to "Fatfest".
Sorry, I couldn't resist. LOL

You know, Whoops might be a bad idea with the subpar suspension on these.... :)

I put my snap ring on the highest setting to tighten up the rear shock and plan on swapping to a 200X front end with disc at some point

My Fat Cat will be there for sure. It takes minimal trailer space so it allows me to bring 6 machines instead of 5. I did suggest an exhibition MX Class for 2 wheelers. It was met with mixed reviews.... "It's not bikefest"!! Still, I argue that it IS an all terrain cycle.

Side note: I have been out twice this winter in 6-8 inches of snow on the Cat. What a blast!!! The TR in TR200 must stand for "traction".

I had mine on some ice and that did not go too well, but it chugs right through everything else!

I don't think there would be an issue running one or two races with them, the people who don't want them there are jealous they don't own one and hate being reminded of this :)

Big Specht and I are bringing our BW 200s for sure and hopefully our BW 80s. We have been hoping some people would bring BWs and Fat Cats so we could have a group ride. BWs and Fat Cats are kind of the trailprotrailprotrailprotrailprotrailprotrailprotr ailpro brother of 3wheelers so they should fit in LOL!

Only thing I need for mine is the shifter linkage. I have another shifter on it but the reach is a little far. Once that is set, it's 100%

Kiser - a group picture of fat wheeled motorcycles would be MINT! Sounds like we will have a good showing of TRs and BWs this year. And Keister is technically correct, they are All Terrain Cycles!!!!!

to Howdy: It's not FatFest, It's sure as heck not RiverFest, nor is it Rev-LimiterFest, or will it ever be JackWagonFest!!!!!

kiser
02-05-2013, 05:20 PM
That would be great Tim!! It does sound like there will be several TRs and BWs there!! A group pic is deffinately in order for them!!

MIK6/ MikeI dont see any reason why both of you couldnt be in it. The 2CATE is a very cool bike!! Id love to take it for a quick cruze if you dont mind

Wow, Ben offloaded the 2Cate already, I was wondering it was the same one when you started mentioning it Mike. If it werent so small I would possibly take it for a rip, who knows maybe by trikefest '13, I wont be BigMike, but MediumMike.

MIK6
02-05-2013, 06:12 PM
Small??? That thing is huge.. much bigger than a 250 class mx bike..
anyone is welcome to ride it!!
Ben called me about a project he wanted to build, a surprise TF build. I Just happened to have what he was looking for, a deal was struck and the 2cate found a new home!!
he can use it anytime he wants! Lol

Don't know who he is, but I have pictures of that FatCat at TrikeFest dating back to '05 or '06. I think ATCTim has talked to him.

Could be any of the abouve I guess but I would like to talk to him this year. His Fat Cat looks about as cherry as it could get! Id like to find a Fat Cat also...just havnt tripped over one yet. I picked up a nice little BW 80 today with a roached motor. The one I got from Stud last year had a rebuilt motor but very cosmetically challenged so I swapped the motor when I got home. I didnt get the carb finished up so I didnt get it started but should have that done this weekend. Looks like a good chance it will make it to TF!

My BW 200 is still stuffed in the front of the shed in the same state of disrepair as it was in several months ago. As soon as the top end is back on the Harley, it is next on my list.

You better get on the ball! Us newbies to 2 wheeled fatties got stick together! lol Have a feeling we will watching from the side of the track with our "stock" machines. I need to find a rear rack for mine so I can haul a cooler for cold refreshments while watching them tear it up on the strip.
