My 200e br can handle 26's clearance wise so i imagine the 250 would too, but small bore engines aren't fans for large tires so i def recommend regearing to keep same load on engine. If you go up 12% on tire size, make the gearing reflect 12% increase in ratio.

kinda hard to adjust gearing on a 85 shaft drive big red...i would just keep the 25" tires but that's me.....

The 250ES can handle up to 27" tires without any suspension modifications, and I put a 27x12-11 Vampire on the front using a 2+5 offset rim. BUT, if you ride over 30 MPH the fenders will flop into tires and rub. If you put more than the weight of the rider on the rear rack, they will rub. Occasionally mine would grab the mudflaps and pull them under as well.

But if it's just going to be you on the 3 wheeler, and you just plan on trail or mud riding, then they'll be fine.

I got a really good deal on these tires, otherwise I would have stayed with 26's.

I had these 27x12-11 Vampire TSL's on my nice 85, but I have since swapped them to my 86 because it's not quite as nice.

Thanks stonewall for the pics I can now see that a 27 will fit but its pretty darn close to the fender I think I am going to try the 26 inchers prob the kenda executioner they are 6 ply and heard they last along time but ride ruff on trails but great in the mud still going to research more the bighorns they look good all around
