I picked this up from the junk hard. I know its a 1985 200x because i ran the vin number, but i'm not sure what all this is. The axle seems wider, i'm not sure if the swingarm is stock and i also included a pic of the rear plastics. My friend said they dont look like the ones that he had on his old 200x. Also the front spindle and rim are gold, and i think it should have just been reg aluminum? Also can someone give me the messurement from end of hub to hub on a known stock rear axle so i can find out if this is a extended one or not. Any help would be great

Looks like you have some low profile rear fenders ( SRP maybe?) , the axle definitely looks wider than stock ( i'll get some measurements of my stock one for you), and the swingarm appears to be aftermarket also. I'd say you got yourself a unique find. Not sure about the front wheel assembly, I'm sure someone here knows the story.

I saw that on CL.. i was wondering more about it myself, i just dont need a 200x at the moment lol.
im thinking it might have been someones ice bike back in the day.. white frame, white plastic, it has rear ice tires (minus studs). Ice bikes pop up here and there around the fingerlakes. Its a cool piece thats for sure!

Stock 200x axle is 33 1/2 inches. Front rim and hub are from 83-84 250r. Stock 200x has the silver rim with black hub.

Nice find. The axle to me looks like a finishline or possibly durablue. The swinger looks like dico, durablue or could be a homemade job. The rear fenders are maier, plastic, low-pro's. It looks like they are cracked on the back-end. Too bad if they are.

Haha, you are right. I knew when I typed durablue I wasn't correct. I am going with you on the dico.

thanks, yea the plastics are broke, but i was thinking it because all the parts where there it might be worth it to fiber up the broken plastics on the under side. I really just picked it out of the junk yard because of the rear tires, also thought about using the front end on my road trike, and gettin rid of the tecate one that is on it now. Also the rear tires where studded at one time because there is lots of lil holes where the screws use to be. Is the other parts worth any money to you guys. I have to many toys now, and there is no way she would let me restore a trike. She already made it real clear i have to sell the road trike before i can build my new one.

disreguard the restore still a nice save: I was typing while you posted ^^^

The front fender was maier I have the exact one in the bag. I agree with the others...Could you post better pics of the tank?? If it's a shortened tank you just found a diamond in the ruff. Even if it's stock you my friend have the start to a great resto/racer. It's got all the cool stuff but vintage in a way that was done in the period. Given the budget you could have it done in time to line up at Ashtabula...and see how it runs:naughty:

Since it's coming part if it is a cut tank from the day I'd offer based on condition....just curisous as well.

Judging by the parts everyone has mentioned and the Powroll sticker on the fender, looks like you may have found something that was really special once upon a time

I was the one who listed it on crags. Then after getting a few people really beat me up on the price i had i removed the ad. The tank was destroyed. All of the bottom was rusted right out, not just a lol hole or something the comp bottom was gone. It would be a fun project but unless someone in new York had some parts at the right price I'm a sitting duck on it

its gone, I had a guy from buf come over and pick it up for his brother in law. I guess he lives a few states down and has a few of them so it went to a good home. I'm sure it was used for parts but that's ok.
