Engine displacement limits for trails?

I just got an email from atv connection that said
many places to ride limit engine displacement to 250cc.

I guess it's one more thing to watch out for before packing up
with all the other papers and driving long distances.

Anyone else experienced this?

Have heard of nothing like that in my area, thank God!

A ridiculous rule like that would bar about 85% of the ATV's from riding!!
