I remember when those came out.... their graphics was "shocking!" :-D

We thought they were cool. As cool as anything could get after the perimeter frame KXs came out in 1990.

I personally like the color scheme the RM's had back in the days....they seem to stand out better i think!!!!

The 250 thats in the photo above sits about 38 inches tall (to the seat) im 5'11 and i can lift my leg over top of the seat to get on it without tipping it over.

Hey Honda200,

My son is 14 and stand 5'1" he rides my 96 CR250 just fine, but is much faster on his 03 CR125. The 125 seat height is actually higher than my 250 by 1 1/2 inches. I told him if you can start it, you can ride it. After all your feet aren't on the ground when your riding........just kidding.

Happy trails

They do when your woods riding and cross country riding! I ran the last two Blackwater 100's on an RT180, because at 5'7" full suspension dirt bikes were too tall, without dropping down to an 80! THose tall ones are fine on the track, but I need my feet in the woods!

Hiya Tim,

You got me on that one, I've never rode in the woods. Closest thing to that around here is a few pucker bushes. Even a old desert racer can learn a few things...............LOL.

Happy trails,
Kirk

If you ever get one of the old Blackwater videos, youll see how many guys are dumping it in teh "sticky spots" just because the bike is too tall for them to use their feet. In the old (double shock) days, it wasnt a problem, but I got rid of a mid 80's YZ250 because it was way too tall for me, in order to get a KE175 which I replaced with the RT180.
