Still sort of new to the 200X in general, my question is will a '86-'87 200X hub/spindle bot onto a '83-'85 fork? if so without any modification? Any help is appreciated

yep, they are interchangeable. Read through my 200x flat track build thread. I show step by step how to do it. I think it starts on page 3 or 4....

Any benefits to swapping the hubs? I have a good 2nd Gen wheel sitting and have noticed its quite thick compared to the 1st Gen

Yep, the benefit for me was that I could run a 10" wheel from xowner. That was the whole reason I did the swap. I hate the OEM size. With the 10" wheel the playing field is open for what tire you can run.

I read thru thread, everything made sense, works for me. My only question is a '85 brake rotor bolted right up to '86 hub, no problems with offset or anything?

I got some proper 11 inch tires, I would like some 10 inch rears though :)

Nope, bolts right up.
