I've owned several Yamaha 225's, I don't ever remember seeing one with any kind of "govener" or throttle limiter on it.

I think there is a screw that goes into the throttle at the front of the housing ???

Humm after looking at microfiche diagrams I have discovered that the 86 models are the only 225's that had a throttle limiter... strange must have been a last minute shot at pleasing the CPSC with safety. Learn something new everyday.

A.K.A: The @sshats that wrecked for everyone else. These "protectors of the public good" Did as much damage to Triking history as the poorly trained riders that sadly expired on their machines and the careless parents that purchased high-zoot trikes for rubber-brained children.
