I'm continuously leaking fuel through my overflow hose on my carb. What could cause this? It's a stock 1985 200x. Thanks.

Usually this happens when the float is stuck. Clean the carb with carb cleaner and a air nozzel to blow every port. Carefully take out the float valve and wipe it.

Check your neddle and seat
The little seat that attaches to the flots with rubber on it. It could be worn out or could be dirty
It's staying open and causing the gas to go out the over flow.
Also check your flot level that could be your problem too.
Good luck.

I agree with Honda Guy. And if you can see or feel a ridge in the taper of the needle, it may be time for a new one.

You can buy the kit to the carburator, new floats, for the 200x the carbs on ebay are very cheap, i bought one brand new for 30 bucks. sometimes its even cheaper than to buy the kit

There is someone on this board that sells refurbished carbs for 100. Supposed to be mint.
