ouch! 1st gen really bad shape. would cost nearly $1000 in parts jsut to get it safe to use. i can oyl imagine, new bearings, rebuilt motor, new cables, new brakes, rebuild brake cylinders and masters, rust removal the list goes on and on. if you have the time and extra parts, good deal, but for me, probebly a no go as i need a runner at least to start with.

if I had the money I would buy it for $50 US and ship it up here to Canada, clean it up a little bit and maybe ask $500 as is, i'm sure someone up here would pay that for a R considering Ontario prices.

I searched c-list independent of the link, and cannot find it. My guess is it sold already. I can assure you that no one in the PHX metro area who looks for 250r's had to think twice about picking this up either to part or flip for "A few dollars more".

I have not checked back with the posse on the status, hoping it is in the driveway when I arrive home from work, but I highly doubt it.
