honda 350x will not start ???????

hi i have a 350x when i got it it smoked so i tore it down put a new piston ring and matching cylinder i started it 1 time ran great no smoke sounded tuff killed it now i cant get it to do anything its getting fire i pulled the carb off and the valley is wet so its getting fuel so what gives?????:lock:

If its getting spark then pull the plug and spray some startup fluid in the cylinder. Put the plug back in and see if it fires or even pops. If it does, you most likely have a startup jet problem,

I just did my top end and the same thing. I dont wanna be a bad guy here but it jumped time and bent a valve. I had to tear it back down luckily I had an extra head. Just check your timing if its good then thats not the problem
