We're getting absolutely pummeled here. Tons of snow and very high winds, even lightening! I'm afraid a tree might fall on my house. I was outside listening to limbs snapping off the trees. We've got hours to go. Pics tomorrow.

Got around 10 inches in Mid-Michigan area. Local radio stations call it "Blizzard 2013" LOL. Took my 250sx out in the unplowed areas, didn't do too bad, but I need better rear tires, besides 22 inchers are a bit small for this stuff. My dirt road is untouched since yesterday.... almost got the car stuck at the corner going into work today.

Fun stuff, I think I better get a truck some day lol.

All done here but the drifting.. A whopping 5 inches. I'm a sicko,,I Envy you Whyzee! I know it's a Pita,,but SO beautiful, and such great snowmobiling after it packs..Time to plow, cinder, and grab a sled to pack the girls sled and tube trail for downhill riding.

By the sounds of it I'm glad things didn't get too out of hand back East. I know how bad those blizzards can get. We've had that crap since the end of October and we're sitting at about 2' of powder now. The sled guys love it. It finally warmed up enough to ride; been colder than a witches tata this year, -40 last week. I'm going to venture out today to see if I can find some packed down tracks to ride on. My favorite Honda this winter is the snowblower, lol.

There were at least 30 people stuck at 5pm Fri night in the Canadian Tire parking lot near my house - they obviously drove to work Fri morning but by evening they couldn't even leave the lot! Crazy the type of chaos a little snow brings to a big city. I kind of wondered how they expected to get home if they couldn't even leave the lot - some people that got pushed/towed out to the street will just get stuck somewhere else on the way home I'm sure. IDIOTS in tiny cars with NO SNOW TIRES. When I got back to my house someone was abandoning their car just outside my driveway - said they blew their transmission trying to get unstuck and no tow trucks were available for at least 12 hours.

I'd guess we got about 2 feet or so. This pic was after about 6 hours yesterday-

Guys, this a treacherous storm for sure. I couldn't drive my 2wd pickup right now if I wanted to. My girl has a Jeep, but she's at work. My only transportation is the SX. I went for a ride this morning up to Dirtcrasher's house. He lives 6 miles from me. Nothing but plows out there and lots of broken trees and telephone poles. Tons of people without power, thankfully my power is still up. I have no idea how, there are broken poles and wires a mile up the road from me. Trees blocking the roads, fallen limbs everywhere, it's a total mess. I love it though. Got the wood stove cranking, it's 75 degrees in here. I'm gonna head out for another ride in a bit.

Steve, I didn't stop in because your driveway was untouched. Is the Deere OK? Let me know if not, I'll get my snowblower up there.

I would have been OK on the roads without the 4-snows, but I wouldn't have been moving around nearly as easily as I am with them. These tires are unreal and I highly recommend them!

Same with the heated grips. I would have turned around about halfway to Steve's without the heated grips. I had them on full blast (which is really fricken hot) and I was squeezing them hard. At one point I was riding down the road between two open fields, and it was hard to tell where the side of the road was.

I just came on here to check out you guys specifically. Turned the Weather Channel on,,which we Never do. And they were showing up there. It's no joke. Glad all is well there and hopefully Steve's just sleeping in ! Preperation is a wonderful thing!!!! 4 snows and heated grips. You need some hand guards/muffs my friend..

Here's some photos of my sx / snow :). It melted down quite a bit today. Yesterday it was ~10 inches of powder, now it is more chunk/harder and easier to get stuck in lol.

Well before it started I went for a load of wood. Trailer gets a bit heavy for the big red when loaded full of wood.

You ain't shiting man. My house is surrounded by them. Every time we get bad weather I feel like I should be wearing a helmet in the house. When the wind whips up I brace for impact.

Got 16" here, can't even move out on my lake with trikes or quads. 4' high snow drifts, looks like a desert. Guess its time to buy a sled. Spent the whole weekend plowing my bushlot and a big track out on the lake with the 79 jimmy.

Tonight all the roads that never got salted are ice from rain, what fun, first 6 miles to work was all smooth "black ice". Only way I knew it was there was my tires spinning when I took off O.o.
