My boy who is eight is getting into models. After a few trucks and the Titanic he now wants a three wheeler model. I cannot find any anywhere. The guy at the local hobby store could not either. Have any of you ever seen them? DO they even exist? If so, who makes them and who sells them?

I've seen them every now and then on eBay. Seems like there kinda rare and go a pretty penny only ones I have seen are the us90. Good luck! Hope you find one!

I was wondering the same thing, i was thinking a good modeler could take a quad model and convert it... LOL

As a young modeler, I do remember assembling a US90 trike. This was 74ish. I dont remember who built the kit though.

The only model I"ve seen was a us90. I believe the company was MPC. They usually command a high price when they pop up. They weren't a kit for a novice builder. I don't know of any quad kits, but then again, I've never really looked.

After seeing some of the special order models out there I figured there had to be a trike. Hell, I cannot even find any ATV models.

First time seeing this, all the way from Sweden?

That is very cool. It is a little pricey after shipping. But where are you going to find another one?

First time seeing this, all the way from Sweden?Looks like it's coming from Austrailia, rather than Sweden.

Very strange model marketing tactics on this one. On the box they usually have a picture of the actual object, that the model was scaled down from, an artist's rendering, or the completed model, assembled & painted by a decent model builder. This one has the completed model, that looks like it was assembled by a total rookie, with no paint whatsoever. :wondering A beginner would have at least painted the tires black.

I noticed that as well. I would still like to have one though.

There was just one on the craigslist in my area. I do not remember which one but it would be in WI or close to it. Was cheap like $45 but half put together and maybe missing some small parts. It was a US 90. I think it came with the box also. Might have been listed under antiques.

I wonder why they do not make some of the other models. A water pumper or Tecate would have been cool.

jeswinehart has a great thread about making plastic parts from molds http://www.3wheelerworld.com/showthread.php/150303-How-to-reproduce-parts.?highlight=making+molds, maybe someone can take a kit apart and remake the pieces, so you guys can put it together.LOL

That would be great.
