I have one on the way, it'll be a nice little brother to my new Husky 460 with a 24 inch bar.

I just bought one too. Thanks a lot for posting that Scooter.

I bought a 576XP with a 28" bar last year and the need for a smaller saw has made itself quite obvious. I tried limbing with my big saw, it didn't work. I climbed the ladder with it and that was as far as I got.

MS440 magnum, best saw I have ever owned. It even survived a skidder running it over, sort of lol.

You're welcome Fabio. ;)

The 435 is a nice little saw for ladder work and limbing, along with it being a nice saw for the wife to use for cutting off and cutting up the smaller branches when she wants to help. I'd be a fool to not let her help when she is more than happy to get her hands dirty and pitch in instead of standing back and supervising. ;)

The 460 Rancher I have coming is 60 cc with a 24 inch bar, plenty big enough to handle the sawing I do since I'm not a pro tree guy. I also can't get myself to justify $800 for just one saw that sits on a shelf most of the time, especially when money is as tight as it is right now. I have a buddy with quite a few trees he needs to come down, and he offered me all the wood I want if I help, and since we burn wood all winter that's a hard deal to turn down. I got 2 saws for $580, I'll take the difference and put it in the rathole money jar to go towards my dream of a 250R or 350X, horsepower I can ride and don't mind having it sit for a stretch. ;)

I also have a Husky 55 and a cheapy Craftsman 40cc my dad gave me for back up or if I have a buddy who wants to help.

I have a bit of a Husky "collection", of sorts.

My wife helps me with wood too and can run a saw.

We have an old 35.. even as ols as it is, still an awesome little limber. I find it faster and more powerful than new saws of the same engine size.

A 136, 346xp (wifes), 357xp and the 372xpw. Kind of got all the bases covered. ;)

Nice collection :)

A few years ago I almost bought a very old Homelite (I think) had an aluminum housing, very heavy duty, old school Homelite before they cheaped out. The thing was a monster, it had a T handle on the end of the bar for a second guy :O I still kick myself for not buying it and restoring it to use. Some day I'll come across another old monster like that and pick it up. It'd be fun to have just for that occasional huge tree. I can see it now: "Hold on guys. I have just the thing for this tree. Here, let me whip this out!" :D

You aren't kidding about those ol beast Homelites... Or Home-not-so-lites! ;)

My Dad had an xl400 when I was growing up. I believe my Grandfather's xl12 is still in the polebarn right now. He passed away in 2010. My Grandmother is afraid of the old saws without a chainbrake and is apprehensive to give it to someone in the family. He used it pretty regularly on his 100 acres pretty much right up till he passed away.. If I recall it's roughly 65cc and it's got to be all of 20lbs!

Mine came to the house Tuesday. Looks good, a few minor scuffs. Ran a tank of gas thru it yesterday, ran good. I need to bump up the idle a bit, and I found a loose bolt on the lower chain guard and shock mount so I checked all the visible bolts for tightness.

The promo code still worked this morning.
