your about 30 minutes or so from me, I'm ten minutes from the lee circle
here's some pics of my trikes, both in progress, BIG red and 200s. We'll have to do a ride once we both are trail legal.

cambroseispro
03-03-2013, 11:16 PM
sounds like a plan what are you doing for work on them. and the first trike i ever rode was a 200s but the coil went my buddy sold it haha. im lookin to get a bigger trike adventualy but for now the 125 is fun and i live literaly rite on a trail

mooseknuckle
03-03-2013, 11:23 PM
Big red needs both sprag bearings, shift shaft, shifter and brake shoes. 200s needs carb rebuild, poston rings/cilinder work and brakes.
I haven't torn the top enx down on the 200 yet so I'm not sure the extent of work needed. Migjt beable to farm it out to you if price is reasonable!

cambroseispro
03-03-2013, 11:28 PM
how long before either are ready to ride?

I live in the monadnock region. I have 3 other friends with 250 big reds but they're not really into computers so we wont see them here. Theres some good riding around here but I would like to find some nice mountian climbs. Not too rocky but nice scenery. Can't wait for the snow to melt. Haven't really been into my snomobile this year even though i paid $80 to register it...

cambroseispro
03-03-2013, 11:36 PM
there is one near me it is actualy a class 6 road that turns into a trail. you know what i dont understand. there are snowmobile clubs everywhere around here but no atv clubs. if there was one i would join it or even if some how i could start one or one could be started by a group of us it would make riding so much easier

Parts are ars coming in for my BR and should be ready for public trails by April. Major build coming up for BR next winter with any luck.
Hoping go to do 2 inch lift front and rear, 300 top end, heavy duty clutches, 12x7 wheels and 26 or 27x 12 rear and 27 or 28x10 front swmplotes.

cambroseispro
03-03-2013, 11:41 PM
nice im going to need new tires adventualy haha i still have plenty or tread for now

03-03-2013, 11:43 PM
Well they got me to join a snomobile club every year saying it would be $5 cheaper. But this year I refused. I'm convinced they are the ones that created the price increase in the first place. in 93 when I registered my first sled it was $24-.........

cambroseispro
03-03-2013, 11:46 PM
i was part of a club down this way it was origanaly $94 to register a sled but by joining the club it was $64 and ofcorse the get u with the $30 club mebership fee

cambroseispro
03-03-2013, 11:50 PM
but i mean all i would have to do is talk to landowners and get permision to start makeing the trails for a club i mean i think it would be fun to get a group of guys/girls out on trikes to ride

mooseknuckle
03-03-2013, 11:54 PM
We've gut atv clubs, but, I'm fairlt anti-social so I don't join clubs! Lol

mooseknuckle
03-03-2013, 11:57 PM
Don't bet me wrong, group ridez are all good. I just prefer to avoid all the politics of a "club".

cambroseispro
03-04-2013, 12:03 AM
im no talkin a buncha politics just somthin so we can atleast ride the trails i mean down thisway there is one trail that says atv use but a bunch that have no singsbut i mean even if its free to join just have a group of people to maintain the trail and everything because if we cant ride the trails whats the point of even regestering it im not big into the politics i feel everyone deserves a say and everyone can help maintain the trails im just sick of snowmobilers discriminating on people who ride trikes or any atv for that matter because we dont have tracks or skis

cambroseispro
03-04-2013, 12:12 AM
im fine with not having polotics or anything but i mean even if we have "work parties" like to maintain the trails i dont see why we shouldnt be aloud to ride them

mooseknuckle
03-04-2013, 12:19 AM
Kebby, your only an hour west of me, how are yohr trails?
Cambro, I like the sound of that!

cambroseispro
03-04-2013, 12:24 AM
well maybe we can get a group started on here for a bunch of us so we can ride and maintain the trails i cant create a group because i just made my account today

I sold my 200s to a friend yesterday. I didn't really wanna sell it but it was a freebie and he offered me 250. Went with him and my bro in law and hit the mud hole on my sis's property and then played in the snow in their neigjbors field. Had a great time. Wish we got pics. Neighbor said we could build a dirt track in his feild!
