Can't believe I forgot to tell this story.

I was working at a place in Oregon a few years back and 2 cute girls came in.

We called them the 2 cuties from Canada.
Mom was 80 and her daughter was 60 or so.

So Their story goes, they moved from Canada to southern california to open a dress shop.

Somehow, they got exclusive rights or territory to sell hondas.
Started with the Cubs, 50, 70's and trail 90's and when I asked about trikes, they said they sold TONS of trikes to the farmers across the border in Mexico.

Wish I had more time to talk to them but lucky I got that much of the story.
Can't imagine they made it up.

oh, and the younger one said she had a 6 cylinder Honda 'prototype' or test market bike still in her garage.

ummm, I met 2 ladies from Canada who happened to open the FIRST Honda dealership in southern California.
..way before trikes were illegal.

Imagine having the exclusive rights to distribute sony or
Toyota.?
I think way back then, you coulda gotten the exclusive rights to distribute Panasonic
and all the rest
in the USA for under a grand and some papers.

Their stories were flooded with smiles.

Probably didn't hurt that they sold out of so cal and own a 1/4 section (440 acres of Oregon mountaintop)

I understand, but then I'm not far behind the daughter in age. Sounds like Mom had some gumption.

Yeah, super sweet people.
Had that gift of positivity and vision.

I think you and I may be the oldest geezers in 3ww.
Trikes and knee joints still workin' ok?

oh, that's ok.
I confuse a lot of people.
I'm just glad there's an open forum for those midnight rambles and the sale of trikes in Mexico from Southern Calif seemed remotely related.

Oh yea, and then they started to race them.

Wish I had more of the story.
