Hey, im a new member here and this is my first post, I have owned trikes for years and have been restoring my first Tecate lately, It is ready to fire up but i lack a good exhaust, i called dg and they still offer there national pipe for this model. Has anyone ran the national pipe? Is it good for performance? My bike is ported mild to wildly i would say, 39 mill carb, boyesen rad valve, head is shaved .030 and it has a clamp on filter. Any advice or reccomendations would be helpful.

Thanks
Ron

The dg is basically a stock replacement. Jemco makes a nice pipe but it's not cheap

Your best bet would be to beg and plead with members here to sell you a good old school system (Klemm, CRF, etc.) if anyone has one. Or watch eBay VERY closely. One thing you can probably count on- it won't be cheap, 86-7 Tecate exhaust systems are hard to come by. Welcome to 3WW!! Got any pics of your green machine?
