Hello all I have 2 questions.
#1 i would like to know, what is the rear axle nut size (need to know so i can borrow one.
#2 probaably a little harder to answer! on the front axle the 4 studs that hold the axle holder on the right hand side, does anyone know the size of those studs? i seem to have broken one!

also does anyone know the torque values for the front axle? and the rear axle nut?

also also would an appropriately sized bolt work in this situation?

Ok, the axle nuts are 20mm x 1.75 thread pitch. Honda OEM Part Number

NUT, AXLE (20MM)

The axle clamp studs are 6mm x 1.0 thread pitch. Length is about 25-30mm. if you can get the broke stud off then either install another stud or use a bolt with approx the same dimensions.

The torque values for all hardware is in the Honda manual.

I was able to remove the broken stud in the usual way (locking pliers) i also removed an in-tact stud for matching purposes incase i got no reply. 2 questions on reinstallation. will both top and bottom sides meet the metal to metal or will there be a gap in one of them, or evenly distributed between both of the. before removing it i noticed a gap on the bottom side. also do you foresee any problems with using a bolt? the only possible problem i see is that when using a bolt is that the hole in the fork would be more prone to stripping rather han stripping the a cheap stud or nut!

Tighen evenly to no more that 9lbs and there will be a gap. No problem using a bolt. I would run a tap through the hole before installing the bolt.
