Here is a vid of all my 1985 atc's racing each other the rider with the camera (me) weighs 30 lbs less
200x has a supertrapp full pipe and a uni filter jetted main 112, new stock piston valves timing chain
250es twin air filter
250sx stock motor air filter, sx triple trees(so I could keep the rack and not modify steering stops) but has 200x shocks and front tire and disk breaks(awsome up grade I think even made it faster)

Best reread the rules of the site partner..

Non-helmet riding videos not allowed! And dragging trikes on the shoulder of a highway..really!

Haven't you heard, we're the new generation of trike owners..we're smarter than all those before us that lead to these machine being mothballed!

Safety 1st..

looks like the x and sx are about equal
nice bikes

on the sx you used the 200x forks in the sx triples and 200x wheel and disc?
did you have to make spacers to fit the wheel? brake?
what axle?

Yea for the break i used 3 inch bolt with a 1 inch spacer and the axle is from the sx and i used a spacer on each side and then like 4 washers on each side to get it spaced perfect it is really a good up grade and was not to hard using the sx triples aloud me to keep the front rack and light and dont have to mess with steering stops really gives it a nicer ride and disc breaks are a big improvement and it lifts the front up a few inchs it makes it a wheelie machine as for the 200x it feels faster but the sx caught it in the end but there real close and the sx is stock witb a 30lbs heavyier rider and the 200x has a full supertrapp pipe and a uni filter and new valves timing chain and a new stock piston i was really surprised if i was to bet on the race i would have said the 200x forsure. the race between the es and the 200x the 200x should have smoked it but i didnt drop the clutch and the es left first

I thought the 200x would just smoke all of them, you could tell once you got into the higher gears is when the 200x showed its power, sweet video

Ive taken my 85 200x stock against my 225 dx and they are pretty evenly matched as well. The 225dx catches up real quick just like that 250sx!

Really? I thought that they are in a complete different class, I figured the 200x would just blow away a dx, that's pretty cool to know they're about the same

Yup in a drag race pretty close on the trails the 200x has a much smoother ride as for the 225dx on trails its alot stiffer but has awesome torque for that size of machine!

All riding pictures or videos posted on the forum whether linked or attached must depict the riders wearing minimal safety gear (This means a helmet). If you post pictures of you or your friends riding without a helmet then theres a fair chance the post will get deleted. If in life or death circumstances where you absolutely positively HAVE TO post a picture of someone riding without a helmet then draw one onto them with Windows paint or similar application.

Are you kidding me O.o. I can understand the idea of safty, but having requirements like that for photos/videos seems... well limiting, private land we can ride how we wish.

Anyway, nice trikes, I always thought the 200x was a lot faster than the shaft drive 250 machines too, but never owned a 200x. I know for a fact my 350x is much faster though lol.
