Howdy

I got a call at work at 2 am telling me that my Grandfather passed away. He seemed like he was doing great 2 weeks ago. But his body started shutting down last week. It gave up early this morning.

He had made the comment earlier this year when Grandma passed away that he wanted to be with her. He got his wish this morning.

:( :( :(

Very sorry to hear about your grandfather - if he was anything like mine he was miserable without his wife and companion of many years.

It seems like human nature. So often we hear about such cases with the old folks who are missing their partner of an entire lifetime.
That doesn't make it any easier for those of us left behind, eh Howdy? I'm sorry for your loss.

My Condolences Howdy. Very sorry to hear that.

A few years ago, a long time friend of my grandparents was out on his land and had a heart attack and passed away. Days later actually during the funeral service, his wife collapsed and passed away. Very sad, but sure says allot about spending your life with someone. Some people just don't want to go on.

May God Bless them.

Sorry to hear that howdy :( Death is something we all have to face I guess, our own and our loved ones, but it's one of those things easier said than done. I'm afraid I will be dealing with that too with at least one of my grandparents sooner than later.

We all gotta die at some point. I find it best to just take it for what it is, think of the good stuff, and keep going. Sorry to hear your loss.

:(
Reminds me of my mom and dad. We were waiting for mom to pass (cancer) when suddenly dad dropped.
Less than two weeks later mom joined him.
It was ten years ago this year.
I guess they are likely happier together. I hope, anyways.
Chin up, bud.

SEE YOU SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON.??????????????????

G-man, this weekend is off completely. They have the viewing and services planned for Thusday thru Monday. It's the wierdest funeral set up I ever heard of. The only thing I can think of is they are doing it this way to allow some of the people travel time to get here.

I am working on cancelling a few appointments and plans in January to free up a weekend to come. I might even try to take a extra day off to be able to stay longer. My only concern is snow. The van don't do too well in snow.
