my 125m is dumping gas all the time

dont shoot the technical marginalized, but just started to notice gas on the garage floor

seems to be coming from a vent tube by the left rear tire..

is that fairly typical on these? its quite the steady flow..and wondering why it would be doing this..

Your float valve in the carb is either dirty or gone bad , buy a rebuild kit for the carb .

The carburetor's float is stuck causing the float-operated valve to fail open. Since the fuel level in the tank is higher than the carburetor's float valve, the fuel in the tank will drain by gravity out the failed open float valve and spill onto your garage floor.

I would re-locate the machine (or at least the fuel tank) away from the house. Rebuild the carburetor.

Yup.. mine was like pouring gas out to until I started driving, then it would come back. Bought a moose rebuild kit and it was perfect after that.
