Neat... I love LED lighting, i have a couple rooms of my house with nothing but LED lighting, and my kitchen i replaced four flourescent tubes with two LED tubes, just as bright with a quarter of the power used. Can't beat LED's...

Pretty neat setup, just one comment, if you ride it hard at all, you might want to relocate the led strips somewhere else, the first time you bottom out will rip the leds right off.

I had a similar plan with mine, except for a ground effects light, I was going to change the main head light to led :).

Hehe, understandable, I take mine everywhere, so I bottom it out at least once a week :D.

X2. I have 15 or 18 watt CREE LED sets on my 4 wheelers and they are flat out impressive. Don't even bother with the 35 watt (per bulb) headlights anymore. However, the wiring on the 4 wheelers and other vehicles I've installed them with is a lot more straight forward. Have one on the way for the 200ES, and am not so sure about how to wire it into that wiring junction in the headlight.

I would say run a new set of wires off the battery clamps and add a standard 12v plug, like all cars have and run the lights off that, and any thing else that is 12v you want :). Don't forget to fuse the wires as close as possible to the battery, positive side normally, and some sort of switch to turn them on/off and make sure the switch is rated for at least 3 amp @ 12v.

yeah they fit directly in the slots and with the rubber boot that they come with it hides the corners pretty well.
soldered on some weather pack spade connectors and i'm in business!
