Been searching for a 530 sprocket for the output of my 200s. Need to be able to run the chain to a jackshaft, and from there, to the axle( using engine on mini buggy build), and not finding 520 sprockets. I would like to avoid 'shaving' a #50 down to the 520 size, and figured it would be easier to just change over to the 530/#50 chain and sprockets to keep things simple. Any help is appreciated.

Can't you just use the 520 sprocket? 520 and 530 are same pitch but the 530 chain is wider. So, the 530 chain should fit on a 520 sprocket.
Not ideal but it's only an old school 200 single so...
Plus, if your alignment isn't perfect the extra space could help.

You know, I didn't really think about the alignment possibly being a bit off, I was just concerned about the chain moving side to side, plus, this won't be running 60+mph, so It might be ok.

Not sure you're going to find a 530 for the 185-200 trans output shaft. I've done a lot of looking and #50 530 can be had all day long. 520, other than the original front drive sprockets, not so much. Are you looking to gear it down on the jack shaft? If not and you're running a 1:1 setup, you could purchase a 520 11-15 tooth front sprocket and weld it to a hub/bushing and slide that over the jack shaft.

I am looking to change the final drive ratio from the factory 3.9:1 down to around 4.6 or 4.8:1, for the added weight of the frame and riders, I am figuring the frame to be around 500lbs completed, and its a 2 seater, so figure another 500 for riders, I have now more than tripled the original weight the engine and trans was built to move. I am doing this to keep the cent. clutch from being killed. Planning 22" rear tires as well, nothing real aggressive, just knobby's for now. I have found the upgraded clutch springs for the manual clutch, but nothing for the cent. clutch, I am fairly concerned about the clutch condition and its longevity.

Well, thanks anyways, I have decided to mill the 530 sprockets down to the 520 size. Just too much time spent looking, when I could have milled them already. I originally was thinking of milling just one down to match the engine sprocket, and using the 530 for the final drive, but thats too complicated if something breaks in the sticks, I just need to carry one chain, not a few of them.
