Honda 250r question

I came accros this ATC:

The ad says that it is a 89 with a 6 speed clutch.
But they never made a 89 model or am I wrong?
Besides that, the exhaust is on the left where 84's have it, and 84's have a 5 speed. (please correct me if I am wrong ^^)

Could you guys give me some information about the model?

Thats a 2nd generation R (83/84). Not a bad trike but it has issues.

That is more than a typo so it sounds like the seller knows nothing about it. If you are thinking of buying it make sure it is not a “scam” ad. You must see the bike in person and in NL it must have paperwork.

You are correct, it is an 83-84 as Flyingw said.

What other info do you want, they are good bikes, go fast, popular, unfortunately easier than a Kawi to get parts for [but Kawi’s never break so they never need any parts like the Hondas do].

Did it come from France or Italy, looks like it by the color combo?

According to the ad it runs...
The asking price is 650 euros but that is not what i would like to pay for it.
I do not know where it is from.

OH, that was a typo it should have just read “they are good bikes, go fast, popular, unfortunately easier than a Kawi to get parts for.” I don’t for the life of me know how the rest of the text got in there, guess I must have accidentally cut and pasted incorrectly, lol. Unfortunately since everyone by now knows I have no edit button I unfortunately, conveniently am unable to modify my post. Besides there is no place in the text that specifically says “Honda’s break”.

ATC300R and I do NOT disagree, Honda’s are very well made bikes and will provide many trouble free miles of riding pleasure providing they are in good shape to begin with and they are properly maintained. Please excuse me now while I go wash my mouth out with soap, lol.

I would think that unless those grow on trees over there that it might sell quickly at or close to that price if it is not junk.

Be persistent if you want it. It may be sold but car "dealers" often travel a bit to get cars and he may simply be out for a few days or so.
