1984 200s fell into my possesion

Hi Guys,
I live in South Louisiana. My brother in law bought this bike new in 1984. He rode it a pretty good bit the first couple of years but not much after he married and moved into a subdivision. Other than a collision that bent the forks a bit( He straightened the best he could) and some broken plastic pieces it is all there and in pretty good shape. Someone had asked him to buy it a while back but he hated to sell it. So a few weeks later he asked me if I would take it and use it as I like and keep it running as it hurts his back now and he has no room to ride or store it. Even gave me the owners manual. So I picked it up and had to clean the carb, fix best I could some broken plastic and replace the front brake shoes and cable. It runs like a clock and myself and my 9 and 11 year old kids have been enjoying it. I am keeping my eye out for a new front fender or used in good shape and rear mud flaps. I made some from a sheet of neoprene but they are kinda thin. Any way here are a couple pics.

Nice trike you got there 22R! Cool that you know the history on the machine too. It should serve well for many years to come. Man, that's quite the gun rack on it!

Thanks for the replies guys. I removed the Gun rack today. It is impressive how east it starts and runs. Idles like a clock.

Nice bike brother. I also have an 84 200s. Although mine has half the rear fender broke off, cracked front fender, bent footpeg and rack, and doesn't run. I am going to fix it and shortly after put the original engine away in a clean, safe place, and replace it with the engine of a 2002 Honda TRX 400ex. I live in Lake village Arkansas and if it gets running id be glad to ride over there and ride a bit.

Update ! Still have it and just found a nice used fork, front fender and tail light from a local part out for 100.00 I am waiting for new stem bearings and will re assemble. Last year I painted the frame with rust extend but it really has only surface rust. It should look and drive great with the straight fork and oem fender. Will post new pics when finished.

Does anyone know what rear racks will fit the 200s besides the uber expensive one made for it ? Will a 250sx one make it with minor mods ? Is there a cross reference of what will work on them ? And does the Hondaline stupid expensive one require you to drill holes in it to attach it ?

Another option is a universal type Atv rack that clamps to the rear grab bar .
Nothing will be a bolt on without mods and I would think the 250sx model would be more pricey than the OEM s model .

A couple U-bolts to the grab bar and this style should work .
I don’t see any new ones posted but at least you’ll get the idea .

PRM used to make them for a lot of trikes, including the 185S. They're not making them anymore, but you could search for 200S ones, if they ever made them for that model.

Here's one I have for a 185. What it looks like on a 200 frame (ignore the 185 seat bracket, I put that on so I could use 185 fenders and seat on a 200 frame).

Thanks for the responses guys. I found a aftermarket rack locally cleaned it and a lil paint and slapped her on it. Now do you guys know if only a 200s hitch will fit a 200s or any with the clamp around the axle made for Hondas like a 200M E or ES may work ?

Thanks yes it has the 22R. I totaled it Dec 2016 a lil ole lady ran a red light at a intersection I was driving through. A hispanic fella bought it from me and frame swaped it so it lives on. I really miss it but I bought a 2017 Toyota 86 ( Subaru ) to ease the pain.pixs are at accident and after frame swap

Oh and the Yota was a 1988 Deluxe but I had added alot of Factory options like SR5 seats, cluster, tilt steering, etc
