Been awhile since I had a dirt bike or quad. do i need to mix oil and gas or just straight up gas?

You own a 4 stroke dude..

Just gas, oil goes in the crankcase!

GREAT machines and often preferred for slick mud over suspension models.
Hopefully the gas tank is spotlessly clean, fresh gas and oil change and you should be good to go another 25 years.

How's it run? ok? does it shift good and have all gears?

Here is the service manual for you machine, but more importantly the owners guide. It will give the run thru on the operations of your new machine..have fun and be safe.

Picked up some oil and an air filter tonight. Went for a ride with the kid and got all muddy!

Looks like my '83 ATC 200. The 185 and 200 had similar features, however the 185 is a slightly smaller trike with smaller tires. Running the VIN will tell you exactly which one you have, as will checking the CC's stamped on the cylinder. The 185 engines will have "183cm" stamped on the cylinder...the 200 engines will have "192cm" stamped them.
