does a 1985 atc 200s have high and low range and does it have reverse?

No, no and no. And it shouldn't have electric start either. What does have all those is an 84 200es

I believe the 200s has only 5 forward gears. The '82-'83 Big Red 200e has a high/low range, the 84 Big Red 200es has high/low/reverse.

Some people confuse the s with the sx.
I drove a couple hrs to see 2 matching 'sx' models and they turned out to be 's' models.
No e start, no reverse, no key ignition and thinking they were pull rope start.
and no suspension.
Great machines but not what I was needing at the time.

They should have the real name and model year on the headstock sticker.
Original sales brochures on the front page of 3ww is pretty interesting to look at.

I actually own a '85 200s. 5 speed, pull start, hard tail, no key, pretty much bare bones bike. Still fun to ride though.

Its quite a unique ride only having 3 wheels and no suspension. Was a better ride with the old balloon tires on it, but now i have big thick mud tires which is kinda a rough ride sometimes. So choose them wisely.
