One is main. Other is reserve.

If I recall, outer is main, inner is reserve.

On the carb, upper is main, lower is reserve. Stock carbs have "O" and "R" (on and reserve) cast in the inlets - look closely - hard to see sometimes but it's there (if you have the stock carb).

Do they go to different sections on the tank? It is the same for my tri-z. The line higher up on the tank is the main and the lower one is the reserve. It is so when you have the main on and use the gas up down under the line your engine dies and you know to get some fuel. You turn the reserve on and you start to use the rest of the gas left. So they do matter :)

On the ATC 70 tank, both tubes go straight up into the tank within about 1" of each other. The "ON" tube is longer so it sticks up further in the tank. The "Reserve" tube is shorter and opens at a lower fluid level in the tank.

I know almost 0 about Tri-Z tanks - other than they're mounted low and use a pump.

Nice pickup. I picked up a roller chassis for $75 and that was a steal. Good job
