First post here. Hope to learn some stuff. I dug my old 83 ATC 70 out I got new for Christmas 30 years ago. It is time to get it running for my son. Anyway, I cant get front wheel axle bolt out to replace tires. I backed nut off and tried tapping bolt out with big hammer and it will not budge. I sprayed it with PB blaster and nothing. It just apears like bolt running through spacers and wheel. :wondering Any tips.

I've never seen a 70 but had the same thing with an sx or big red.
The axle will fuse to the aluminum and can actually break them.
I now soak everything with liq wrench about once a month.
but anyway,
mine were fused too but it would unscrew JUST enough to get the front wheel and tire off
and spread the fork legs JUST enough to get the job done and back together.

Have you tried the search key?
what happens when you click on
service manual

At any rate, generally, acetone and atf are the best penetrant.
and liq wrench is right up there.

Some will say heat, and boil the penetrant, and heat some more and
soak and do that for a few days.

I'll bet a 70 person will chime in real soon.

Welcome and congrats on getting it back into the wind.

edit: I just found a picture of the 70.
Looks like the 90/110 setup.
Might be a simple bolt that goes through 2 spacer sleeves.
I'd be tempted to hold the spacers with a pipe wrench and hit the bolt head Gently
with an air gun set on superlow to try and rattle it loose.
Not sure if the end of the fork legs are kinda pinched together so the axle won't fall out straight down.

The LAST thing you want to do is make it worse so maybe best to wait for some 70 people's advice.
I know there are tons of them on here.
