Their both 85's and both run. I have most of the parts that are missing on the 350X and the Big Red... well it needs both brakes and plastics.

Are you looking to restore them, or just make them nice riders? Both seem like solid machines to me, the big red should be easy, paint the tank, fix/replace the seat, and get some rear fenders, oh and fix the brakes to protect your new fenders lol.

maybe i need to stop drinking at work but that big red looks a little twisty! bad swinger bearings or is the front end tweaked? Good looking projects though!

I had an issue with my 85 SX where the swinger bearings went out and it would just lean over like that lol. Hit the gas and the bike would tweak clockwise and let off the gas it would flop back over counter clockwise from the torque on the shaft drive. Just food for though, if you can push it back upright than its most likely the swinger bearings and thats much better than a tweaked frame to fix

Rebuild it, ride the tar out of it, and probably rebuild it again. Never ending cycle, lol!

Sounds like a lot of riding, they just have tons and tons of tar in them :)

Well like I stated previously, I haven't checked it out yet. Thanks for giving me a place to start looking. I hope it is the swing arm bushings cause your right bent frame is bad news. If it is the frame though I will try to find a replacement BR/SX and if that don't pan out I could always build a front section of an off-road kart and use the engine and swinger, axle and have fun that way.

I've got 175+ acres to do it on, all hills, woods and creeks. :Bounce
