Hi,
I have a 83 200e and a 84 200es I am doing some work on and from my research and crossing part numbers the front forks and shocks are the same between the two correct? Also the seat is the same except for the 83 had a metal pan and the 84 has a white plastic bottom where it mounts to the frame? Is there someone maybe here or a good source for obtaining parts for these other than eBay? I have ordered what I could from the dealer but a number of things are no longer available.

Thanks,
Eddie

Most of these odds and end are on online oem parts shops. Have you looked at any? I like partzilla for the little things under ten bucks because the dont have flat rate shipping. Anything else there are tons of these websites out there

Yeah those are all hard parts to come by sadly... I have researched the 200ES to death, i own one and have worked on two others, all the parts you seek are going to have to be used or improvised from available parts on other models.

The band clamp for the carb is available for some later Honda dirt bikes, last time i needed one i took one with to the local powersports dealer and he dug around the parts bins until he found one the same diameter and width, i don't honestly know what it was made to fit but it looks almost the same as the original.

The tool holder that fits the plastic seat pan shows up on eBay, as do some of the other misc parts. The one your going to be stuck on is that cap for the sub trans shifter, they are unobtanium... So is the knob for the sub trans lever, mine broke, i searched for months, i finally ended up making a suitable replacement from a universal knob from a hardware store.

Yea I guess you could say that. Trying to get it back as accurately as I can. I would also like to be able to find all the informational decals but no luck with that so far either. I see you can buy the stripe kit on eBay but not the others. I believe the two 6 mm flange nuts are still available I just forgot to include them in my order this last go around.
