Which coil you need, the alternator/stator coil or the ignition source coil? The ignition source coil is available new from DrATV

http://dratv.com/atcprstcocdi.html

There is also an all in one replacement available aftermarket..

There is a half dozen or so used ones available on eBay as well.

Oh you mean the actual ignition coil that the plug wire is attached to?

Are you certain thats the problem? Because its pretty darn rare that they go bad, i have replaced one in like 20+ years of wrenching on trikes and bikes. Usually its the source coil down in the flywheel or the CDI unit that goes bad.

Did you take an ohm meter and test the ignition coil?

They are available aftermarket as well..

Ok, well did you check it and didn't get spark then i assume? Its cheap enough to buy one and try it, so if they said its bad then go for it!

Here's a couple of links you need to read thru. If you don't already own a multimeter, buy one and learn how to use it. It's essential to do these electrical checks.
