Since getting my 250r back in the late fall, it's always ran pretty rich. So I kept mixing leaner but it had a negligible effect. I've determined it's the jetting. It must be right?! It also doesn't have the power that it should. Yeah, it'll take the front wheel off the ground, but with considerable labor.
So looking into jets for my 30mm carb I thought, why not look into alternative carbs while I'm here? From reading the forums it looks like a 34mm is the way to go. Am I going to have to do any modifications if I take an 85's carb?
What other options are out there? I would like to do exhaust in the future, but for this summer it won't likely happen. By the time I get my new back tires on my trike budget will have hit its upper limit.
