I am working in a high school and a student is replacing 1st gear in a 1984 200E trike. This washer is a mystery to us in terms of where it belongs???? Anyone help out? It fits perfectly on the crank shaft but no where else....170364

Hi and welcome

I'd try to find some parts diagrams.
I think bikebandit, among others, has parts fische' on line.

Best not to take chances with spacers and washers.
