Had a question for all of you 90/110 guys.

What is the carb of choice for your 180's?

Also do you run pump gas, racing fuel, or alcohol?

Thanks! :wondering

A 26mm carb is best for a performance 180cc motor , octaine depends on compression , most of these motors run fine on high test .

Have you ever ran a Kehein? I know for about the last year and a half my brother and I raced our 110's we ran a 22mm Kehein off, IIRC, a 185S. The Mikuni just seemed sluggish and not as responsive as the Kehein. We used a modified and ported to match BAPP long manifold. I know we played around with 22-28mm Mikuni's and eventually the Kehein's. Both of our bikes were set up and built the same so we ran a 24mm Mikuni on one and the 22mm Kehein on the other, both running Turbo Blue and the Kehein would run away from the Mikuni. Needless to say we ran the Keheins from then on until we sold them. I do remember when we only ran flat track we ran the 26mm Mikuni and alcohol set up. It ran really good wide open. The carb would frost up. :p

I use a 26mm Keihin on my 180cc atc90 and its very responsive . The mikuni's are a little harder to tune IMO sometimes but work just the same .

Thanks for the insite Mike. It was a long time ago when my brother and I messed with these bikes. We were just kids. (13 or 14) We did all of our mechanic work. Out of all the 4 strokes we had 110,200X,250x Quad, I really like messing with the 110's the most. Stuff is slowly coming back. I appreciate your help.
