Man that looks cool..sand is the one medium I have never had the opportunity to ride in to any great degree.

I went to Ganny last year and followed on the tails of a couple other members with me on my 200X, one of which was on a 350X (Jason125M)..I felt the same and came home and found a 350X the next week. This is a decision you will not regret!!
Still haven't had a chance to get back there with it though..:(

Yea the sand was fun something different, i myself had only rode trails! But i have to admit i love the trails alot better lol its just more of a thrill getting through all the obstacles! As far as upgrading im goingnto need to if i want to keep riding sand the 350x will do awesome im sure; because i felt ok getting around just some of the hills were a challenge.

Hell yeah! Sand is a blast! I grew up in Jersey and we had a giant sand pit (several thousand acres) right across the street from us. I only got to ride it a couple times before we moved. My dad and I are planning to go to Little Sahara Thanksgiving week to ride with several friends I have from another forum. Been 12 years since we've ridden sand, should be fun! Hope to have the 350x done by then...

I went through the same progression. I had 2 first gen 200X's. Fantastic trail riders. Easy for my son to learn on. As fast as I cared to go on trails and hard pack.
But, they struggled in the dunes with me on them (push 300lbs with gear). I could ride them all day and have a lot of fun, but there I had to plan my dune attacks. No extra power to resolve mistakes 3/4 up a dune.
2 years later, I have no 200X's. They weren't getting any ride time (one did not move for a year) after I got the 350X and the 250R.
The 250R is my favorite in the dunes.

looks like fun! Sand paddles make a world of difference too, but a larger motor to turn them is key lol thanks for sharing
