84 250R carrier bearing install

Just wondering where the third seal that comes in the kit goes? I have 2 bearings and 2 outter dust seals but there is a third seal that I'm not sure what it is for. I took the Bearings out and there was no other seal inside.

Anybody know what this is for?

Nobody has any ideas? I find it hard to believe that nobody has changed bearings before..........

If you dont get an asnwer back soon, give airfoolers there strictly for 81-84 aircooled 250r

Sometimes in my kits I get an extra seal. Reason being is because these kits are made to fit 10-15 other machines. Could be only one of those machines that needs that extra seal.

Remember to pull the dust seals off of the all balls bearings and repack them! They won't last otherwise.
