Hello

Looks like an oil/dust seal with the rubber scraped off. Check out link below

Hello

Someone else will know about this better than I do however it appears to be a separate sleeve which means it will come off however you need a bearing puller and probably a press to remove it. It appears to be something you could easily get made out of chromolly for around $25.00 or stainless at a local machine shop or high school.

If it's not shown in the parts fiche above in my previous post then it is pressed on at the factory and not sol separately. This would be unusual but happens occasionally.

ill buy the whole sprocket hub as well unless someone has another solution.

you need to replace both hubs. commonly, people ride it after the bearing has failed, and it chews away the sealling surfaces. I am certain there is no other fix that would be as cost effective as simply replacing them. unfortunately, the sprocket side is meant to be part of the axle. you can press it off but it is not worth the bullshit imho.

the little metal ring or sleeve has come off without damage to the hub. its just missing. guess ill have to get an axle and go from there.
