Building up my 1981 atc250r

It was all stock when i got it. Ive put 200x front suspension,3 inch 3 bolt hub extensions and rebuilt the engine. Painted it up a bit but dont have pics yet because im in the process. Im waiting on new hot rod and bearings. But this is where im at.

Be careful on that thing.front end is very very light with any mods at all.fun as hell but a bit of a workout.mine had been bored 80 over,head shaved,port and polish,good reeds and a big Carb.all I can say is hang on tite!

My 84 will be bored .60 over.What did you set ring gap at?What jets and carb are you using?How did you Jet?Mixture ratio?Sorry for hijack

Not sure on the jetting.I just bought a 34mm Carb off eBay.I simply put it on and it was fine.your ring end gap will be in your manual.
